Beaches Therapy Group

In-Person and Online Therapy in Leslieville, Toronto

A little space for whatever life has been asking you to carry.

Work. Kids. Relationships. Parents. The group chat you still haven’t answered. And somewhere in there, you.

Our Leslieville team offers thoughtful, evidence-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families, in person on Gerrard Street East and online across Ontario.

Why Beaches?

Finding a therapist shouldn’t feel like another job.

You’re already trying to figure out what you need. You shouldn’t also have to become an expert in therapy approaches, credentials, insurance, and therapist bios just to get started.

That’s where our Care Team comes in.

Close to Home. Or From Home

Come see us in Leslieville, or meet with your therapist online when getting across town just isn’t happening that week.

A Thoughtful Match

Tell us what’s going on, what matters to you, and what you’re looking for. Our Care Team will help match you with a therapist based on your goals, personality, and needs. If the fit isn’t right, we’ll help you rematch. No awkward explanation required.

Grounded in What Works

Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, and more. The approach is chosen and adapted for the person in front of us, not handed out like a script.

Change to Details, Taken Care Of

Where your insurance provider allows it, we offer direct billing. Our Care Team can also help you navigate the practical side of getting started.

How Can We Help?

Whatever brought you here, we can start there.

Sometimes you know exactly what you want help with. Sometimes the best description you have is, “I just don’t feel like myself lately.”

Both are perfectly reasonable places to begin.

Our Leslieville clinicians work with individuals, couples, and families across a range of concerns, in person and online.

Anxiety Therapy

When your mind has already rehearsed tomorrow’s conversation six times and somehow moved on to worrying about next Thursday. Therapy can help you understand what’s driving the anxiety and find different ways to work with it.

Depression Support

Maybe everything feels heavier. Maybe the things you usually care about barely register. Or you’re getting through the day, but it feels like that’s all you’re doing. Therapy gives you somewhere to begin making sense of it.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

When every conversation somehow becomes the same conversation. When you’re great at managing the calendar but not so great at finding each other in the middle of it. Couples therapy creates space to understand what’s happening between you and find a different way forward together.

Trauma & PTSD (EMDR)

Some experiences don’t stay neatly in the past. Our trauma-focused care, including EMDR with trained therapists, gives you space to process what happened at a pace that works for you.

Grief & Loss

There’s no tidy timeline for missing someone or adjusting to a life that looks different from the one you expected. You don’t need to make your grief more understandable before bringing it here.

Self-Esteem & Identity

For the voice that always has one more criticism. The version of yourself you think you’re supposed to be. Or the quiet question of who you are now that something in your life has changed.

ADHD & Neurodivergent Support

Support built around understanding how your brain works, rather than trying to force it into someone else’s operating manual. We offer ADHD and neurodivergent support for kids and adults.

Child & Teen Therapy

School pressure. Friendships. Family. Identity. Big feelings at deeply inconvenient times. Our therapists give children and teens a space to talk about the hard parts of growing up.

Family Therapy

Sometimes what one person is going through changes the rhythm of the whole family. Family therapy creates room to understand what’s happening together and find healthier ways of relating.

Anger Management

For the moments when the reaction happens before you’ve had time to decide how you actually want to respond. Therapy can help you understand your anger and build other ways of handling what sits underneath it.

Separation & Divorce

There are the logistics of separation. And then there’s everything that doesn’t fit neatly into a spreadsheet: grief, anger, parenting, identity, uncertainty, relief, guilt, and figuring out what life looks like from here.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You don’t need to know what kind of therapy you need.

That’s something we can help you figure out.

Tell our Care Team a little about what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. We’ll talk through your options and help connect you with a clinician who makes sense for you.

The Leslieville Location

A quieter hour in the middle of a very full week.

Our Leslieville clinic sits on Gerrard Street East, surrounded by the shops, restaurants, homes, and everyday bustle of the east end.

Then you come inside.

It’s private and unhurried, giving you somewhere to step out of the pace of the day for a while. Come from work, between errands, after school pickup, or simply because you need an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

Our clinicians offer in-person and virtual care, so your therapy doesn’t have to disappear the week your calendar gets ridiculous.

Location Details:

  • On the 506 Carlton streetcar line, with stops near Greenwood Ave and Ashdale Ave.
  • Evening and weekend appointments available alongside daytime hours.

2

We Help You Find the Right Fit

We use what you’ve told us to recommend a therapist based on your goals, personality, and clinical needs. If the match doesn’t feel right, tell us. We’ll help you find another.

Make Therapy Yours

Your therapist will get to know you, understand what you want from therapy, and work with you on a way forward. You don’t have to be “good at therapy.” You just have to show up as yourself.
