Life can be challenging sometimes and you don’t have to go through this journey alone. From major life transitions to unhelpful thoughts, psychotherapy can help you live a happier, healthier and more productive life. During therapy, I can help you build self-awareness to improve your resiliency and ability to thrive.
I have a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mumbai, India and over 8 years of international experience in providing psychotherapy to children, adults and families across different socio-cultural backgrounds and diverse ranges of challenges. Currently, I am participating in the Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental health (BREM) program. This program helps internationally trained mental health professionals like me to register successfully with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). While providing intern services at Beaches Therapy Group I am clinically supervised by Rebecca Loucks, RSW, MSW.
There are many different approaches to therapy. I believe in drawing upon different strategies and techniques from various approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, emotion-focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, art/play therapy, solution-focused brief therapy and attachment & mindfulness-based tools. I offer a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy and strive to provide a non-judgmental, safe and supportive space to my clients.
Beaches Therapy Group aims to increase access to therapy with discounted rates for sessions with interns. Call today for your free initial phone consultation and we can explore your therapy goals.
