There are many reasons that people decide to seek therapy, and there is no right or wrong time to reach out for support. Whether your concerns are long-standing or have come up more recently, you have come to the right place. I am an energetic, compassionate and patient therapist with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and families (including children, adolescents and parents/caregivers). I am aware that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it can be hard to talk about personal struggles. With this in mind, I strive to create a very warm, inviting and non-judgmental space. I also devote a lot of time to getting a ‘full picture’ of your specific concerns and working together to make a plan that you are comfortable with.
I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I draw from many different therapeutic approaches in my work including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Ross Greene’s Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS). I am also trained in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. I have experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotion regulation difficulties, family dynamics and parenting.
I offer a free initial consultation call to all new clients, during which you can learn more about my approach and tell me about your goals for therapy. I look forward to speaking with you!
