Hi! I’m Liz.

I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking with my dog, relaxing at the beach, surfing, paddle boarding, skiing, or biking. I’m passionate about travel and immersing myself in different cultures, value lifelong learning, enjoy staying active, and cherish time with friends and family.

Hi! I’m Liz.

I enjoy being outside in nature, hiking with my dog, being at the beach, fitness, surfing, paddle boarding, skiing, biking, travelling to different countries and emersing myself in different cultures, lifelong learning, spending time with friends and family,

Only I can change my life. No on can do it for me.
— Carol Burnett

You came here because something in your relationship isn't working. Maybe you're stuck in the same fight. Or you and your partner have grown apart quietly. Maybe you're trying to understand, on your own, why your relationships keep unfolding the way they do.

Whatever brought you here, you don't have to keep navigating it alone.

With more than 20 years of experience in couples and relationship therapy, I work with individuals and couples who are ready to break painful cycles, rebuild connection, and make sense of their relational world.

My approach draws on evidence-based methods including the Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy, EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I use these frameworks because they work, not just in theory, but in the room.

I also bring over a decade of specialized experience working with adults navigating life after traumatic injury, including concussion and traumatic brain injury. This work has deepened my understanding of how trauma reshapes identity and relationships.

As Director of the Couples and Relationship Program at Beaches Therapy Group, I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University. I am registered with the OCSWSSW, a member of the OASW, and a trained Family Mediator.

My approach is warm and direct.

I'll be genuinely curious about you and I'll challenge you when it matters.
