Hi! I’m Laura.
I enjoy beach walks in the winter with my dog when it’s both sunny and snowy out, listening to current events podcasts, spending time with family, watching reruns of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and researching places to travel where I may or may not go.
We are all seeking change in some aspects of our lives. Most of us can articulate what we would like to be different, but there is often something preventing us from moving forward. Seeking help can be daunting, but therapy can and should be a liberating and empowering process. I am energetic, warm and compassionate, and am dedicated to providing you with the support and tools necessary to cope with and overcome the challenges that stand in your way. We will work collaboratively to help you access your inner strength, which I believe is integral to the healing process.
I have a Masters of Social Work degree, as well as a Bachelors degree in Sociology, both from the University of Toronto. I have worked in various clinical settings with a wide range of clients facing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, addictions, psychosis, and childhood trauma. Your free initial consultation call will provide us with an opportunity to get acquainted, and to discuss the therapeutic process. I look forward to meeting you.
