I love exploring the outdoors on long walks, savoring quality time with my kids, family time, and immersing myself in audiobooks that feed my curiosity—especially those on psychology, history, and the deeper nature of the human experience. In my free time, you’ll also find me skiing, practicing yoga, and singing around a campfire, often diving into conversations about life’s great mysteries.
The therapist is not only the healer but also the fellow struggler who helps illuminate the path toward meaning and connection. – -Irvin Yalom
I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, committed to helping individuals, couples, and adolescents overcome obstacles and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a clinical supervisor, supporting the growth and development of fellow therapists by exploring deeper clinical questions and focusing on the broader themes that often arise in counselling.
My style is active and collaborative. Together, we’ll uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work toward reconnecting you with your own inner wisdom. Through this process, you can expect to develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself and cultivate more authentic connections with those around you.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and earned my graduate degree in Counselling Psychology at McGill University. My post-graduate training has focused on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion practices. I also lead workshops in the community on topics such as relationships, families, and self-esteem.
Having experienced therapy myself, I understand how vital it is to create a comfortable, genuine environment. My aim is to be down-to-earth and relatable so you feel safe sharing your concerns and goals. Clients describe my energy as both compassionate and motivating, which I believe fosters meaningful change and personal growth.
I invite you to schedule a free initial consultation call so we can determine if working together feels like a good fit. I look forward to supporting you—and, if applicable, the therapists I supervise—in reaching a place of greater self-awareness and well-being.
