Hi! I’m Laura.
I enjoy Yoga, hiking, experimenting with different workout classes, scrapbooking, painting, playing board games, trying new recipes, exploring the world, spending time with friends, family & cuddling my pup.
Healing means outgrowing the patterns that once kept you safe. Be gentle with yourself as you explore new ways to thrive.

Do you struggle with mood regulation, self-esteem or relationship issues? Do you find yourself turning to unhelpful coping strategies that leave you feeling stuck in a vicious cycle? I’m here to tell you that you do not have to navigate these challenges alone. Your suffering matters and there is no concern that is too small or big for exploration.
It can be difficult to ask for help and I admire you for taking this step to improve your wellbeing. As a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO, #10887) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, I’m here to help. I hold a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, which I completed in 2022.
I have experience helping individuals with a range of struggles including self-esteem, attachment in relationships, family conflict, disordered eating patterns and concerns around sex and sexuality. I help to create a space to process emotions, develop healthier coping strategies and safely explore root causes to struggles for long-lasting healing. I use a range of approaches tailored to your individual needs, including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, emotion-focused therapy (attachment-based), somatic-based therapy and narrative therapy. I am certified as a mindfulness-informed professional, informed sex therapy professional and clinical trauma professional.
I recognize that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all and finding the right therapist can be overwhelming. My role is to help you improve your relationship with yourself while providing an unbiased perspective. I offer a conversational, easygoing style to create a calm and safe space for our sessions. Collaboration is key and I prioritize your feedback to ensure we meet your needs together. I offer free phone consultations and would love the chance to learn about you and answer any questions you may have.
