My personal journey of self-awareness led me to pursue psychotherapy as a career. In my experience, I recognized that life can be complex and we are always in the ebb and flow of these challenges. Finding the right type of support can be one of the greatest assets in the journey towards self-discovery. I invite you to take a courageous step forward on your path. I am an empathetic and engaging therapist who will be responsive to your needs. It would be my honour to support you in creating a self-fulfilling life.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University in Psychology and Gender and Women’s Studies. I have experience working with diverse populations, including children, youth, families, couples, and individuals from various cultural backgrounds, including new immigrants. More specifically, I have worked with clients who experience anxiety, depression, relational challenges, stressful life events, anger, resentment, grief, loss, and various forms of addiction.
I will be using a trauma-informed perspective with an eclectic approach to psychotherapy utilizing principles of cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, mindfulness strategies and emotionally focused therapy, and I am open to incorporating spiritual practices. Throughout my professional career, I have always been mindful of supporting clients using a holistic approach by ensuring that my client’s emotional, social, spiritual, and physiological needs are met.
Join me in a session to learn more about yourself and to find ways to connect with others in a way that can be both meaningful and impactful. We can work together to evoke change, clarity, and stability in your life.
