Hi! I’m Erin.

My favourite moments are spent with family, friends and my dog. I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors and trying new recipes.

The sun never quits shining. Sometimes, clouds just get in the way.

Making the decision to connect with a therapist is not always an easy one. It may come amid a crisis or in response to emotional distress that has been lingering for a long time. You may be experiencing difficulties in your relationships, struggling with intense emotions or feeling burdened by patterns of behaviour that leave you feeling stuck. I respect the courage and commitment that has led you here. As a Social Worker and an individual, I value compassion and collaboration. My approach is client-centred and strength-focused. To me, this means staying attuned to your needs at every step of our work together. My primary goal is to create a safe place for you to express yourself and feel understood.

I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful catalyst for change – through which new meanings can be developed and new responses created. I will work collaboratively with you, at your pace, to help you find clarity, meaning and a renewed self-confidence to move through each day with hope and resilience. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, and a Master’s degree from the University of Calgary. I have also completed training in a number of evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Most of my career has focused on supporting individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and relationship difficulties. I offer a free initial consultation call to new clients where we can explore fit and come up with a plan together. I look forward to connecting, healing and growing together.
