Hi! I’m Divya.
I’m all about creativity and good vibes—whether I’m dancing, singing, or playing my sitar. Makeup is my art, and making fun reels and tiktoks is just as exciting! I love chilling with my cat, getting my energy out at the gym, and making memories with family and friends. I’m always ready to explore new places, and when I need to unwind, nothing beats a good horror movie or baking a new recipe. Life’s too short not to enjoy every moment!
Take my hands, close your eyes, now feel.
— Ruth Handler
Hi! I am so happy you’re here.
Sometimes in life, we encounter challenges that can dim our sparkle. While this is a natural part of the human experience, how we navigate these moments can deeply impact our well-being. No matter how big or small these challenges feel, I commend you for taking this first step and am greatly honoured to walk alongside you as your guide, supporter, and biggest cheerleader. You are a gem, and my hope is to support you in recognizing your own light!
My approach is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. I work from a person-centred, strengths-based perspective, valuing trust, empathy, and authenticity. I believe healing happens not just through conversation but also through creativity and self-expression. I incorporate approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, tailoring our work to your unique needs. I also offer unique interventions like makeup therapy—where self-care, artistry, and empowerment come together as a form of healing.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With seven years of experience as a former registered behaviour technician, I’ve worked with individuals with autism and intellectual
disabilities providing behaviour therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). My lived experiences also allow me to deeply understand the
challenges faced by immigrants and minority communities, and I am passionate about supporting those navigating identity, cultural expectations, and other stressors.
Life’s pressures can feel overwhelming, but my goal is to empower you, help you build effective coping strategies, and remind you of the strength and brilliance that already exist within you. Together, we will embark on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and growth—so you can shine brighter than ever. I invite you to take my hand as we walk this path together in restoring your shine.
