Hi! I’m Sara

Growing up on the West Coast, I’ve always felt the happiest in nature. Since moving to the East Coast, I'm often found hiking or walking by the lake. I’m drawn to deep conversations, how photography captures meaningful moments and books that help me make sense of the world. I’ve always loved football and the way sports bring people together. Most of all, I love spending quality time with my loved ones!

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
— Carl Rogers

Therapy is a space that allows for reflection, exploration, discovery and growth. It is a space where you can be your truest self and where your vulnerability will be met with compassion and empathy. I work with individuals of all identities and I am committed to creating a safe space where you are accepted, seen and heard for exactly who you are. Every part of you is welcome here.

As a person-centered therapist, I honour your inherent wisdom and deeply respect your individuality. Together, we will collaborate to create a plan that supports and empowers you on your healing journey.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and I completed my Master of Education in Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. I have experience supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, negative self-image, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions and grief. My therapeutic approach is integrative as I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs. I am grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practices. I acknowledge that parts of my identity hold privilege and I invite conversations about identity, systemic oppression and intersectionality into the therapeutic space.

I offer a complimentary fifteen-minute consultation call where we can discuss your goals and assess our therapeutic fit. I am honoured that you are here and I look forward to supporting you!
