We each have our unique life story, beliefs, challenges, and goals and it can be daunting and vulnerable to share the challenges that have brought you here.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Mental Wellness Coach and a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor who also runs mental wellness programs and mindfulness programs for various organizations.

MBSR helps people struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic illness and chronic pain to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, focus, memory, develop more awareness, resilience and cope more effectively with short-term and long-term stress. It is important to me to help you cultivate the capacity to engage in caring for yourself and find greater balance, ease and peace of mind.

I provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to heal, learn and grow. My style is eclectic, and I operate from a multicultural and trauma-focused lens, honouring your personal identity, challenges, culture, beliefs and values, while providing you with a safe space for choice and empowerment.

My therapeutic approach is holistic, integrative, and tailored to your needs. I incorporate concepts of mindfulness and self-compassion while drawing from the evidence-based practices of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Existential Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy and trauma-focused therapies.

I am committed to delivering quality care to my clients through my professional growth. My specialized training includes trauma, anxiety, depression, narcissistic injuries, neglect and relational trauma, unhealthy family relationships, trauma-informed interventions, self-compassion, self-care, somatic therapy and more

I have a passion for supporting people dealing with trauma and abuse, unhealthy family patterns anxiety, depression, chronic stress, overwhelm, setting healthy boundaries, relationship challenges, chronic illness, chronic pain, women’s health issues – including fertility issues and reproductive conditions.

For many years I worked in the corporate world, becoming burnt-out and overwhelmed after years of trying to balance my career, a divorce, being a single mom, and struggling with more than one auto-immune condition. This led to my journey of learning how to nurture my mind, body, and spirit.
