Psychotherapy helps people to manage difficulties in their lives and to improve their quality of life and overall health. We will work collaboratively towards your
personal goals, in a way that feels comfortable for you. I tailor my sessions to the needs of each individual client using a variety of integrative therapies.
My services include evidence-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy
(SFT), and mindfulness techniques.
I work passionately with my clients so that they feel safe and understood. I practice from a strength-based, trauma-informed lens, supporting adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of needs. Some of these needs include anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and grief.
For over a decade I’ve been supporting individuals in a variety of different settings. I spent over 8 years at The Hospital for Sick Children in both their day hospital program for eating disorders and in their inpatient mental health crisis unit. Before starting my journey as a therapist in private practice, I also spent time as a child and family therapist (intern) at a community mental health agency as well as time teaching in both Seoul, South Korea, and Toronto.
In addition to being a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I am also a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) and a Child and Youth Counsellor (CYC).
